Find Hackers Near You
Hackerbuddy was originally designed to bring hackers together so that they could help each other out over email - but I've had quite a bit of feedback saying that it would also be useful to include a way to find startup hackers that are nearby too.
And now you can - the settings on your profile page now has a "Where do you live?" section. Add your city, and you'll be able to find other hackers that are close by.
On the user search page, search for "near me" to get a list of startup hackers that are within a 30 mile radius of your city. This only works if you're logged in, and have added your city to your settings.
You can also narrow down your search using "near me" so you can find fellow hackers that know python and marketing that are near you by searching: python, marketing, near me.
Useful & fun features like this come from your feedback, so if there's anything you'd like to see that would improve Hackerbuddy, let me know.

It'd be great to be able to expand the radius of location to 50 or 100 miles.

Could we get a map, showing densities? That would make determining the search radius a whole lot easier...
